Getting Started

The civil geometry tools are a dynamic, interactive, and rules-based approach to geometry. Civil geometry or geometric rule-based elements are created intelligently as the tools are used and elements are constructed. Rule-based elements provide Design Intent that builds associations and relationships between civil elements. Object information (how, where, and by what method it was created) is stored with the object to ensure the original intent is retained and honored in the design. If an element is modified, any related elements will recreate themselves based on these stored relationships.

All geometric data is stored directly in the design file (.DGN) and can be easily edited and reviewed via the drag handles, dynamic dimensions, text manipulators, and so on.
